Spotlight: Joseph Johnston

As with future editions of SHANTIH Journal, our first edition focuses on a standout writer, poet, or artist. SHANTIH 1.1 took time to sit down with freelance writer and filmmaker Joseph Johnston. Joseph’s films Fragments and Suite: Billy Gutz have won the Iron Horse Literary Review’s annual video literature competition. His poetry, prose, and films have appeared in Rawboned, Old Northwest Review, Linden Avenue Literature Journal and Arcadia. He lives in Metro Detroit with his wife and two children. Check out our interview with Joseph in volume 1.1.
